Luxury pavilion transforms Bay living

HERVEY Bay’s lifestyle offering for seniors just reached a whole new level, with the grand opening of Ingenia Lifestyle’s spectacular new multi-million-dollar clubhouse, The Pavilion.

In a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local leaders, residents, and Ingenia Lifestyle representatives, excitement filled the air as the vibrant over-50s community celebrated the launch of their third dedicated communal facility — a major milestone in the estate’s ongoing growth.

The Pavilion now joins the recently refurbished Eagles Nest clubhouse and The Hangar community space, expanding a world-class suite of amenities designed to foster connection, wellbeing and active living.

Ingenia Lifestyle’s Head of Development for Queensland, Adam Forrester, said the new facility reflects the company’s commitment to redefining retirement living.

“‘The Pavilion is part of our continued investment in Hervey Bay and we are excited for residents to enjoy all that it has to offer,” Mr Forrester said.

“We believe in creating communities that encourage connection and support a healthy, active lifestyle, and great amenities are an essential part of this.”

From a gym and golf simulator to a resort-style pool, steam room and sauna, The Pavilion boasts a luxury lifestyle experience. Residents also have access to a lounge, bar, multipurpose room, and a function-ready BBQ area — all tailored to bring people together.

“While the offering differs slightly across each of the three facilities, there is a common thread and that is the focus on how each facility can enhance the resident experience, creating places where people want to live,” Mr Forrester added.

Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour, who attended the launch, said the space is about more than just bricks and mortar.

“It’s a space where residents gather to watch State of Origin, play bridge or do aqua therapy. These facilities provide the options for a wider range of lifestyle opportunities,” he said.

Long-time resident Graham Henry agreed, describing The Pavilion as “absolutely stunning” and a powerful contributor to health and wellbeing.

“It’s everything you’d want for an enjoyable life,” Mr Henry said.
