Z-PAC announces 2026 standout season of shows
THERE’S a special kind of excitement that fills the air each year when Z-PAC Theatre unveils its upcoming season — the promise of new stories, fresh creative voices, and the joy of seeing Fraser Coast talent step confidently into the spotlight.
That excitement returned in full force at our 2026 Season Launch, revealing a lineup that is bigger, bolder, and bursting with variety.
What I love most about the year ahead is its balance. It’s a season that doesn’t just entertain — it surprises.
With laugh-out-loud comedy, gripping drama, and beautifully crafted contemporary works, the 2026 program reflects the creative spirit that continues to thrive in our region.
Announcing a new season is always a highlight for us at Z-PAC.
It represents months of reading proposals, speaking with directors, and imagining how each production will come alive on our stage.
This year we received an overwhelming number of submissions, all of high quality.
The creativity emerging from the Fraser Coast grows stronger every year, and every proposal showcased the passion our community has for theatre.
While choosing from such a strong field is never easy, it’s a challenge we’re grateful for.
The final program offers a rich mix of comedy, drama, and contemporary storytelling — a season designed to celebrate the remarkable talent within our region.
Z-PAC Theatre’s 2026Season Line-Up includes:
• Inspektor Drake’s Last Case — Feb 27 to Mar 15
• Mosquitoes — May 1 to May 17
• The Postman Always Rings Twice — Jun 26 to Jul 12
• The Revlon Girl — Aug 14 to Aug 30
• Blithe Spirit — Oct 2 to Oct 18

Thank you to every director who submitted a proposal.
Even if your show wasn’t selected this time, we encourage you to keep sharing your ideas; many are ones we hope to see in the future.
As always, Z-PAC thrives because of the people who volunteer their time, creativity, and support.
Whether you join us on stage, behind the scenes, or in the audience, you are part of what makes this theatre so special.
