Falsettos by Macabre Theatre Co. – Friday, 13 June
Don’t miss the emotionally charged and darkly comedic musical Falsettos, presented by Macabre Theatre Co. on Friday, June 13 at the Brolga Federation Room Theatre.
Set in 1970s–80s New York, this intimate, moving production explores love, family, and identity through the eyes of Marvin, who leaves his wife and son to be with his male partner.
The musical is both hilarious and heartbreaking as it follows their unconventional family navigating relationships, bar mitzvahs, baseball—and the looming AIDS crisis.

Held in Hervey Bay on Saturday, 19 July, this half-day session will teach on-set etiquette, background acting techniques, camera movement, and how to get cast as an extra.
