THE HERVEY Bay Men's Shed will be conducting its annual garage sale on Saturday March 18th and Sunday March 19th from 8.00am till 4.00pm.

“The HBMA is a community-based organisation that is accessible to all men,” Leon Baldwin, the local President said. 

“Our mission is to advance the general health and well-being of men,”

“We achieve this objective by providing a safe, friendly and welcoming environment where members are able to work on meaningful projects at their own pace, in their own time and in the company of other men.”

"Or you can just come along, have a yarn and a cuppa if that is all you’re looking for.”

“This focus encourages social inclusion which helps us play a role in addressing depression and male suicide which are major issues for men in today’s society.”

“We have a strong community focus and we are always ready to help the members of our community who are disadvantaged in some way.”

“Like all not-for-profit organisations that are run entirely by volunteers, we rely on our members to help raise the funds we need to remain financially viable so we can continue to play an important role in our community.”

“That’s why we are encouraging everyone to come along to our annual garage sale and support the Hervey Bay Men’s Shed.”

The sale will be held at the Men's Shed, located at 28 Aalborg Road, Nikenbah 4655, near the council tip.

Items for sale will include, hand and electrical tools, furniture, white goods, toys and items made by shed members.

A Sausage Sizzle, cold drinks and EFTPOS will be available on the day.
