ONE of the Fraser Coast’s favourite events, the Relish Food & Wine Festival, will return in 2025 to celebrate the region’s finest food, wine, and entertainment. Set to take place on Saturday, 14 June from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Portside Precinct and Queens Park, the festival promises a full day of culinary delights and live performances for all ages.
Relish 2025 will feature an impressive line-up of music, food, and drink vendors.
The Hyne Group Main Stage will host bands such as Dance Floor Confessions, Late Lacy, August River Band, and 1770superjam, while the Solo Stage will offer acoustic performances by Emma Newman, William Ramage, and Stella Hutchins.
Festivalgoers can also explore a variety of gourmet food offerings and beverages, including regional wines, craft beers, and spirits, as well as a cocktail bar by The Spirit Collective.
Renowned chef Matt Golinski will return to the Food Lovers Marquee, where he will team up with local chefs for live cooking demonstrations. This marquee event is free for all festival ticket holders.
In addition, a new ticketed tasting session will be hosted by Wide Bay Brewing Company at the Corner Bar inside the Customs House Hotel.
Guests can join Head Brewer Andrew Clark for a 90-minute guided tasting, which includes six brews and the exclusive Relish Festival Apple Cider.
For history enthusiasts, the Fraser Coast Regional Council will offer a unique cocktail experience at the Bond Store Museum. Shaken Through Time: Era-licious Cocktails will allow participants to enjoy signature drinks from the 1920s, 1950s, and 1970s while mingling with characters from each era.
Art lovers can also join the Tote-ally Creative Classes at Gatakers Artspace to screenprint personalised canvas tote bags while enjoying charcuterie and wine.
Additionally, Aquavue Beachfront Bar & Eatery will offer a three-course canapé feast, and Maryborough’s Cockatoo Coffee will serve grazing boxes for sharing.
