THE FRASER Agriculture Show is celebrating its 150th Anniversary on the 22nd and 23rd May with the show theme being ‘Our Rich History’ The show kicks off with the Show Ball on May 10th at the Maryborough RSL by our NextGen committee with the presentation of the Rural Ambassador, Showgirl, Junior Showgirl and Junior Ambassador.
“This year’s event is gearing up for a record crowd with patrons enjoying the traditional ring events, agriculture, horticulture, Young Farmers Challenge, jam-packed pavilions showcasing our local talent, woodchopping, chainsaw events, vintage cars, stud cattle, poultry, woodcraft, sideshow alley and the ever-popular bull ride at Friday nights rodeo and family favourite the spectacular fireworks,” said a Show spokesperson.
“This year we are excited to introduce Lego, Macrame, Patchwork Quilts, Scarecrow competition and Chainsaw Sculpturing.
A return of Team Penning on the Saturday afternoon and Sunday will keep the crowd on their toes.”
“A must for the little ones this year is Kids Corner with lots of free activities to keep them amused including ‘Scotts’ Fruit Tree, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Dinkum Dinosaurs, Yellow Brick Road, Little Red Engine Train and Lil Farmers Club.”
