All-New City Park Market
1 min read

THE ALL-new City Park Market will officially commence on Sunday 5 November.

The City Park Market was born from the need to have a quality Sunday market in Hervey Bay, to service the many people who were unable to attend a Saturday market due to work, sport and other commitments.

This exciting new venture has been in the works for almost 12 months, with creators/organisers Nat and Mark Albert working closely with Fraser Coast Council to find the idyllic location.

This location is not only central but offers adequate parking, access for all and not to mention a great spot to shop and listen to some live entertainment.

“On the official opening day of the City Park Market Emma Newman Music will be performing live, which will be followed each week by a variety of specially chosen local talent. Aaron Westlake and Andrew Copland to name a few,” Event Organiser Nat said.

“We are also currently in discussions with the Hervey Bay Regional Gallery in regard to holding holiday events for arts and crafts classes for adults and kids alike”.

We asked Nat what the interest has been like for the new market.

“Fantastic!  Overwhelmingly stallholders have been very supportive and eager to get this market up and running. It is great to see everyone pulling together to make this happen”.

Some of the major stallholders include Childers Fine Foods (sauce, condiments & small goods), Gourmet Marketeers (deli), Garys Fresh local Seafood, Kashae Fair Trade (fashion & jewellery), Sheryl’s Farm Fresh Produce, Veggiefruit and Panacellis (all fresh local produce suppliers for fruit and veggies, fresh eggs and so much more).

The markets will be pet friendly, with three to four quality pet accessory and pet treat stalls.

City Park Markets will be held every Sunday at Charles Street, Pialba from 8am to 1pm.
