710 Motorsport, affectionately dubbed "The team living the dream" by commentator Aaron Noonan during the 2024 event, is once again gearing up to take on one of Australia's most iconic motorsport challenges.

The team is packing up the tissue boxes and cardigans in preparation for another shot at the Bathurst 6 Hour this Easter Weekend.

While they’re bringing some exciting new sponsors on board, the car's signature striking retro livery remains unchanged, ensuring it’s unmistakable on the track and guaranteed to turn heads in the paddock.

The car in question, a 1998 Toyota Camry, is no stranger to Bathurst.

It’s steeped in the event’s rich history and holds a unique distinction: it’s the only car in this year’s field that has competed in the Bathurst 1000, the 3-Hour Showroom Showdown, and the Bathurst 6 Hour, over a remarkable 27-year span.

The Camry has been through it all, with countless kilometres of racing experience, and this year it will once again be piloted by Hervey Bay businessmen and amateur endurance drivers Russell Greaves, Darren Goodard, and Shane Logan.

The trio are hoping to build on their impressive journey from the back of the grid, aiming to improve on their surprise 33rd place finish in the 2024 event.

The team’s growing popularity has not gone unnoticed.

Their social media campaign leading into the 2024 event sparked an outpouring of support, and this groundswell of enthusiasm has only increased over the past year.

Fans from across Australia continue to rally behind the Camry crew, drawn to their authenticity, humour, and passion for racing.

710 Motorsport has become a beloved underdog story, and while they love to have a bit of fun off the track, their performance in the race speaks volumes about their dedication.

Proving that even the biggest Pro-Am race in the country is no barrier to any amateur driver with the dream and commitment to make it happen, the team is ready to show what they’re made of.
