FRASER Coast streets will be glowing as the region’s Christmas Lights Trail officially goes live, complete with an interactive online map to help residents explore the festive displays.
FRASER Coast streets will be glowing as the region’s Christmas Lights Trail officially goes live, complete with an interactive online map to help residents explore the festive displays.
Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour said the 2025 trail has reached a record 174 registered homes and businesses, including nine Christmas Street entries.
“We’re delighted to see the trail continue to grow and thank everyone who
has decorated their homes and businesses this year.
Your efforts bring joy to our community and help make the festive season special,” he said.
“The interactive map is now available at www.frasercoast.qld.gov.au/festive, making it easier than ever for residents to plan their Christmas Lights adventure.”
Christmas Street entries are highlighted in green and include:
• Westminster Court, Kawungan
• Ronaldo Way, Urangan
• Kingfisher Drive, Oakhurst
• Rosewood Court, Tinana
• Wallace Court, Urangan
• Maike Drive, Urraween
• Daintree Drive, Urangan
• Slater Street, Oakhurst
• Halcyon Drive, Wondunna
Cr Seymour said Westminster Court in Kawungan claimed the Christmas Street title last year, following Ronaldo Way in 2023.
“Following the lights trail has become a cherished tradition for many families,” he said.
“I encourage everyone to jump online, check out the map, and take a stroll to enjoy the creativity and festive spirit on display this year.”
“Congratulations to the nine streets and 174 households and businesses taking part. You have helped create a truly spectacular show for our region.”
The Fraser Coast Council has announced Ronaldo Way, Urangan, as the official 2025 Christmas Street!
This street has truly lit up the neighbourhood and captured the festive spirit in a big way.
Ronaldo Way will proudly display the official Christmas Street sign for the next 12 months, celebrating the creativity and festive spirit of the Fraser Coast community.
