A Walk to Remember honours precious lives

FRASER Coast Bereaved mothers, Kristy Barbour and Stephanie Whitcombe, are proud to be partnering with Red Nose Australia and SANDS to announce the Fraser Coast Walk to Remember.

This heartfelt community event, taking place on Sunday October 1st at 9.30am, marks the beginning of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

Pregnancy and infant loss is an unimaginable journey, one that affects countless families every year.

The Fraser Coast Walk to Remember offers a safe and compassionate space for bereaved parents, grandparents, siblings, and supportive friends to come together and honor the babies who reside forever in their hearts but not in their arms.

Being held at the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre on October 1st, the family friendly event will feature a commemorative service to celebrate the lives of precious babies who were taken too soon, followed by a casual and symbolic walk and finishing with light refreshments provided to participants.

Tragedies like pregnancy and infant loss often become silenced, and the Fraser Coast Walk to Remember aims to change that. By coming together, families can not only honor the memory of their precious little ones but also create a supportive network for those who continue to navigate the challenging path of grief.

All those that feel that would find value in this important event are invited to join and become part of a community who understands.

To register, head to the Fraser Coast Walk to Remember on Facebook or visit www.stickytickets.com.au/trbmx/fraser_coast_walk_to_ remember.aspx.

Fraser Coast Walk to Remember takes place at the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre, Sunday October 1st from 9.30am.
